Covid-19 emergency response

Project location(s): Kajiado County and Bungoma County

Project Overview

With the country witnessing the adverse effects of the COVID-19 pandemic especially on the social front with the rising cases of mental health conditions linked to unemployment, domestic and gender-based violence and the stigma around the disease, BNBR is implementing a COVID-19 emergency response program to address these issues.
These activities entail improving awareness on COVID-19 through countering misinformation, providing psychosocial support for health workers, those in isolation/quarantine and the public during the COVID 19 Crisis, supporting Government in containing the spread of COVID 19 around project sites in Bungoma and Kajiado Counties and improving access to social protection for the most vulnerable in the community.
