BNBR and Worldbeing host education stakeholders meeting on Youth First Kenya Curriculum – NTV

Basic Needs Basic Rights Kenya (BNBR) held an education stakeholders workshop in Kilifi County to sensitize them on the need to build resilience of learners in Kenyan schools as part of improving education outcomes. This is part of the Youth First Kenya (YFK) program which is a Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) approved curriculum under the Life Skills category, that aims to equip adolescents with resilience skills and mindsets to help them bounce back and thrive amidst challenges and achieve their life goals.

The program was developed by WorldBeing and adapted for Kenya and is being implemented by BNBR in collaboration with KEPSHA. The program is being funded by the Echidna Giving Fund and Fondation d’Harcourt.
